"We're proud to have helped our community express caring thoughts for 30 years" say Linda & Melanie when they celebrated 30 years of business in 2007.  Linda Seefeldt and Melanie Smith have been partners in the Clark Flower & Gift Shop since they opened in September of 1977. 

We opened our buisness selling fresh flowers & plants, and in 1979, we moved to our current location, just north of Highway 212 that goes through Clark SD.  Over the years, we have added giftware, dinnerware, Black Hills Gold Jewelry, and greeting cards to the mix of products that we sell.  A Bridal Registry was started in 1982, and in 1985, we received the Bronze Promotion Award from Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine for the promotions done in our bridal department in 1984.

In 1986, we added some South Dakota products to our inventory for Christmas, and in 1987, we trademarked the name "Dakota Care Packages" for our gift assortments of South Dakota products.  In 1988, we received the Bronze Promotion Award from Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine for our Dakota Care Package promotions.  We ship our Dakota Care Packages across the United States and to many other countries.  We have added many new South Dakota products over the years, and ship our packages year round.

We carry many giftware lines, from frames to collectible figurines, baby gifts, kitchen gadgets, & western gifts.  Fresh flowers, green & blooming plants, silk florals, & balloons are an important part of our business.  We serve Clark and the neighboring communities with care, and provide  personalized service to our customers.

We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
We are closed on Sundays.
 To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

We specialize in the following services:  Large inventory of fresh flowers, plants, dish gardens, contemporary & traditional arrangements, silk & dried arrangements, weddings, funeral designs, gourmet baskets and South Dakota foods, gift baskets, extensive line of giftware, greeting cards, and balloons.  We have a Bridal Gift Registry that includes leading dinnerware brands, and still maintain the small town atmosphere and personal service to our customers.
